Let us introduce ourselves.
We are called: What Wassenaar Wants. WWW (triple double U) for short.
We are a local political party.Our main aim is to serve the local Wassenaar community.
We do so by listening to the views and opinions of our fellow-villagers and by following up on what we hear.
We are social-democrats to the core. We have compiled an agenda of priorities which includes the following key items :
1. Transparent politics and clear decision-making
2. Lower municipal taxes and effective use of tax-payers money
3. Maintaining Wassenaar as an independent municipality.
4. Being a caring party for those in need
5. Measures to deal with the increasing amount of through traffic within our village
6. Measures to maintain an environmental look and to keep Wassenaar green
7. Measures to maintain continuing vigilance of safety and security.
In short, we are conservative by aiming to maintain and protect the quality of life in Wassenaar and yet, we are also progressive by having an open mind for developments and challenges of the future.
We have no hidden agendas. We are free and independent.
WWW has no masters only the constituents of Wassenaar.
